thanks to adrian,we got our tickets to watch Singapore's very first National Day Performance held atMarina Bay. The five of us,including me,yanshan,kimyein,adrian and yeehoau went. we arrived at cityhall,thinking of buying dinner at marina square before going into the theatre.but the queue in mac was exceptionally long so we gave up the idea of buying dinner at first. but while the girls were queuing up to go to the ladies,yh and adrian went back to mac again. then finally finally,we went through the security check.yanshan and the guys have to drink infront the officers to proof that their drinks are really safe for drinking while for both me and ky,the officers open up our bottle to smell at our water.while queuing,we took some photos.here we go!

when it gets too bored after queuing for so long

after the security check,we had to walk along a stretch of road,claimed by yanshan to be the future F1 formula race route.how honoured..eh??lolx..the place was very crowded and it seemed at if half the poplulation was there.hahahs..abit exggerating but it was only after a long struggle and a hard time squeezing that we finally reach the spectator stand.me and yanshan started ransaking the bag for goodies and we started exchanging colours for the bag which i think was pretty cool...

where is yanshan??

then the sky became dark. and there u go..seeing youthful primary school kids and all performers in their glamerous costume,striving to get their performance done perfectly.their spirit their enthusiasum made you feel like dancing with them.the national day theme songs, made us reflect upon ourselves..there is a question..have you ever asked yourself..how much have you contribute to the nation since the day you were born?

and lastly,the highlight of the whole parade!the fireworks!!=)
